Tuna Fishing Charter | Atlantic City
June14 2010 : Bluefin TUNA.

Left the Ocean City inlet around 6 am. Had a hugh swell in the inlet but once we got out the ocean was flat calm. The water temp was around 70-71 about 15 off. the water was gin clear and ton of bait, sand eels and squid. Just outside the 20 line we hooked up- 8lb blue the another and another. The mate rigged a small planer and bam a hugh bonito, Then the same rod, bang and the drag never stoped. this fish had to be 150 or better. We had him on for about 20 minutes and pop just about 10 yards of line left on the spool. Yes sir, Big tuna 16 miles out. Well, that's that...We had action all day and filled the cooler with nice Bluefish and bonito. The weather was fantastic and so was the crew. Tuna this time of year can range form a 20 to 200 lbs or more When you get a Bluefin tuna you know it. Those big tuna pull hard the whole time . Tuna are the big game show, and now ;is the time.
